Bug report: using certain shortcuts in the card editor triggers the main window

Sorry for the confusing title but here’s how to reproduce this bug. I am using a Mac, hopefully this is able to be reproduced in Windows as well

  1. Add a card (press A)
  2. press “command + comma” to add a bullet point list, it should work just fine. Clear the card
  3. Now just click on the main Anki window again to focus on it and bring it to the foreground
  4. Now go back to the card editor. Press “command + comma” again
  5. Instead of adding a bullet point list, it opens the preferences in the main window

This is a new bug introduced in one of the recent versions; I checked out an earlier version and it didn’t happen.

Which version didn’t have it and what version are you using?

On linux this is not reproduceable. I’m guessing this is due to a mac specific shortcut to open the preferences.

I’m using the latest version, 24.11.

And I actually just tested it on 24.06.3 and it doesn’t happen, so looks like the latest version caused it.
