Record Own Voice History

This add-on changes the behavior of the reviewer’s “Record Own Voice” option in the following ways:

  • Recordings are saved to the add-on’s folder and a GUI is provided to play or delete each card’s recordings.
  • Pressing V to replay own voice plays the most recent recording associated with the current card if any.

I find this useful to quickly record my pronunciation and track my progress between reviews without having to edit the notes to add the sounds each time.

Hi, how can i make the recorded audio file auto play each time i see the back? thank you a lot for your great work! Awesome!

There’s no simple way to do that.

Hi abdo,
i would want this functionality, perhaps you can develop this new addon?
A record mode:
When i open the back of the card, it automatically starts to record my voice and saves the file onto a specified field.
Or alternatively just a button to instantly record to a specified field.
This would make learning much more interesting.
