I have a note type with 68 fields. When I go to add a note the first field is missing. I’ve added another field to the note to see if anything changes (it doesn’t the first field is still missing). Please see the picture below.

It seems like you got the add-on Ze Add Note Id installed.
From the add-on description:
If you decide to turn one field into a note id field, this field will no longer be visible in the Add Cards window. This is because the note id can only be detected, after the card was inserted.
Disabling the add-on should fix the issue.

Thanks I’ll try that though for this particular note type I don’t have this selected.
