Poor pictures quality from shared decks

Hello, I couldn’t find my answer on the internet.

I don’t have any image quality problems on my own decks, on the other hand, any imported decks (shared decks) with pictures end up with small and very blurred images.

I don’t have any particular addons that affect the images and their quality.

I’m interested in any solutions, i’m on Anki mac OS.
I have also the IOS app and there is the same problem.

Is it possible that the images came that way with the shared decks? Have you gone directly to your collection.media folder where they are stored, and checked if those images are actually any bigger/better quality? Managing Files - Anki Manual

OK, I’ve looked in this folder and the images are still of poor quality. This is the case on 5 decks I recently downloaded, I guess I just had bad luck.

You can click on the images on the ankiweb page and they should appear at their full resolution (whatever that may be)

For example, If I click on the sample images in the Top 5k Spanish deck: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/241428882 https://ankiweb.net/shared/mpreview/241428882/1.jpg?1507987557

I can see that they are indeed, quite small.
