In AnkiDroid’s main screen, tap the three dots on top-right, then tap Check > Check media. If you don’t have the files on device, it should show up here. (On desktop, you click Tools > Check Media).
my problem is that if i export my anki deck it doesnt some images
When you export the deck, do you select the Include media files option?
i have read that you can restore the said photos? sorry for the trouble
Thing is, even if you have an AnkiWeb account, you wouldn’t be able to get media files back from a server side backup. But you said, media is working in at least one device so you might just not be out of luck.
Yes I include media files option when I export the deck
I want to export the said deck and share it to another device I cant figure out how it should work for some images
Have you tried using sync for that?
i did but when i export the deck it has the same problem of when used to other devices the deck doesnt show all the images
I still don’t know whether the files exist on-device. It’s possible the media is being loaded from an external source. Have you checked that?
You don’t have any deleted media in AnkiWeb, so I can’t restore any files for you.
If the images are working for your locally, but not working when exporting, it indicates the deck has been constructed in such a way that Anki can’t identify the images. If you got the deck from someone else, please report the issue to them.
What did Check Media report exactly? What is an example of a card that is missing media when exported?
Actually I guess I know what happened. Recently I had a problem: I was creating a history/dates note type, so I turned

into a “timeline” via stylization, then added an image of a location icon
to the suspended “holder” card, then copied exact text to the card template. But when I synchronized stuff to further edit from PC I found out that image was not present. It turned out that when I added an image, in the media folder it had name pngwing.com (1).png
thus Media Check was showing it as the one not present in any card. Manual fix, and everything works as intended (changed %20 with space symbol). So, I guess that’s was the reason why some of my imported images were disappearing throughout time, and that’s why he lost some of them too.
