Paste keeping original formatting not working

Hi guys! I really need your help.

I CANNOT PASTE INTO ANKI KEEPING ORIGINAL FORMATTING.
NEITHER WITH CRTL + V, NOR WITH CRTL + SHIFT + V.

I use it to copy text from PDFs and paste into anki.

I use anki Version 2.1.54 (Qt6) with windows 11.

I’ve already tried deleting anki and all add-ons and reinstalling just anki without any add-ons. But it did not work.

Please could someone save me?

This could be an issue specific to PDF. I find copying text with formatting from PDF files mostly annoying and doesn’t give the desired result.

It works great when I copy text from PDF into Acrobat and paste into Word.

But it doesn’t work when I paste it in anki.

In Preferences (Basic), try disabling the setting “Paste without shift key strips formatting”
