Number of Cards Due do not make sense

On the decks home screen, the numbers are as follows…
New (100), 53, Due (458).
Once I click into the deck, the numbers are…
New (37), Learning (53), To Review (374).

Is this normal?

The decrease of “New cards” may be the automatic burying of siblings.
