"No cloze found" on cards with valid cloze

I use cloze for my cards, but lately I get the “No cloze found on card”-warning even though I have valid cloze. For example “No valid cloze 5 found” even though i have e lot of cloze 5 in the card. This is usually cards that used to work just fine, and my impression is that if I make small changes in the card, half of the card is not working anymore (fx the cloze 5,6,7 stop working).
I tried to make “new” cards by changing fx cloze 5,6 (whos not working) to 7,8, but it does not help…

I’ve been using cloze for a long time without problems like this…

Anyone with the same experience and maybe a solution?

It sounds like you have a particular note that’s having this issue. You should post the note so folks can take a look at it. Small syntax/punctuation errors can be easy to miss – especially if you have other complex things happening on the note (like MathJax).

Another option is that your Cloze note type is broken. Have you tried switching these notes to a fresh version of the default Cloze note type?
