I am starting a new card deck. Anki is not giving me the option to answer questions that I already know. On the previous deck, I could select A,B,C,D if I already new the answer or select ‘show’.
The only option I’m seeing is is to display the answer. I have not found the setting that will either allow me to answer the question or, if I’m stuck, to display the answer. I’m on day-2 for this deck. I thought maybe after I had rated the first group Again-Hard-Good-Easy, then I would start getting the option to start picking an answer.
Anki doesn’t have built-in support for multiple-choice, so you must be getting that functionality from a custom note type. If that isn’t working, you’ll need to contact whoever created it let them know their note type isn’t working with the new version.
