I am using the AnKing Notetype.

I am using it for cloze 1 by 1s, with the “flip to back automatically for cloze one by one” enabled

It automatically flips to the ‘back’ of the card when you use this card type, so you do not see front of the card. And because we don’t see the front of the card, we don’t see the number of new/learning/review cards remaining at the bottom of the card.

Right now I am using the “progress bar” add-on to supplement and get an idea of how many cards there are remaining - but it doesn’t break it down in to new/learning/due.

I would like to see the number of cards remaining (ideally broken up in to new/learning/review), and I was wondering if there is an add-on out there for this purpose.

An easy solution would be to turn off ‘flip to back automatically’ option, as it might be worth pointing out that the behavior you describe is true for all cards, not just one-by-one.

One-by-one cards broadly function the same as any other; before you start to flip over the answers, the card counter is present at the bottom. Once you have flipped the card, the answer options are revealed but the card-counter disappears for that screen.

This basic behavior is the same for other note types as well (cloze, basic, etc.).

That being said, there may be addons out there with varying degrees of similar functionality. I know that there are 3-4 progress bar addons, or similar, though I haven’t used them enough to comment on them.
