New cards not syncing

Hi,

I am using Anki on my Apple Mac. I have my cards preset set at 9999 for new cards and for reviews so I can see the total number of everything. Currently my home page is showing my number of blue (new cards) as 4104, but when I click on browse and go on New under card state, I am seeing a total of 4793 cards new. There is only one deck with new cards, so I have no idea where those 600 odd cards are going. I have 0 cards buried and have turned off bury siblings. I even tried to add a card straight into the deck and the number stayed at 4104. This is really frustrating because it seems like I have less cards to do than I actually do.

Please let me know how to resolve this.

I’m opened your collection (the version that’s currently on AnkiWeb) in desktop Anki on Windows, and I can see all 4781 New cards for the y2 deck in the Decks list. (The other 12 cards are in the y1 deck.)

You’re using an older version of Anki on your Mac – from about 3 years ago. Have you enabled the v3 scheduler in Preferences – The Anki v3 scheduler - Anki FAQs ?
