Hi everyone, i recently updated my macbook pro to sequioa 15.7.7 last night. i downloaded anki 26.5 and it basically keeps coming up with a sync error. i have tried everything such as changing wifi and it still doesnt work? how do i go about removing this please
Were you previously able to run Anki just fine on this MacBook Pro? Are you saying that you started having problems only after the macOS upgrade?
If any of these conditions apply, please let us know:
- You use a VPN.
- You connect to the internet via a proxy.
- You use Apple’s iCloud Private Relay.
- You use a firewall.
- You live in a country or geographic region known to block the internet.
Please try all the usual network troubleshooting activities, including:
- Rebooting your computer.
- Rebooting your wifi modem/router.
- Take your MacBook Pro to someplace with public wifi and try using the different network connection there.
- Try disabling VPN, proxies, or firewalls.
- If you use a VPN, try using a different VPN server.

im currently in student accomodation and i am connected to the accomodation wifi, i have always been connected and anki had been syncing fine up until i updated my macbook last night
