Me and a friend use an anki deck. However we both make edits to certain cards, I am trying to import his version to update some of our cards but I would like to pick and choose which cards version remains. There are numerous differences and numerous cards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have spent alot of time to no avail 
Hi, you can export individual cards by selecting them from the browser and then looking for “Export notes” (it’s in the 3 dot menu on AnkiDroid).
Either follow @ZornHadNoChoice 's advice, or export the entire deck from your friend and load it into a spreadsheet (e.g. LibreOffice Calc).
Then remove the entries that you do not want.
Finally, export to a CSV and import into Anki. Just ensure that your Unique Identifier’s match those of your cards.
