Manually review (not reschedule) card: Is this even possible?

So there is a question that I just practiced/answered that I have an Anki card for. The card is overdue (but this doesn’t really matter) but it has not come up yet because I have a big backlog.

The main point here is: I just studied the card, so I should update the card’s state as if I actually got the card and reviewed it. I have found it in the browser. How can I manually learn or review the card? I know I can manually set a new due date, but I see two problems with that:

  1. I assume this doesn’t update the card-specific parameters (e.g., for FSRS).
  2. I have no idea what the suggested interval is. Let’s say I would press “Good”: How do I know which due date to set without seeing Anki’s suggestions?

You can use the AJT Card Management / Reset, Learn, and Grade cards from the Anki Browser - AnkiWeb addon to manually grade cards from the browser

Barring any surprises, this feature will be built into the next anki release

Thanks, that’s perfect! And I think it’s a good native feature to have.
