macOS: Display resolution low after sleep mode or disconnecting external display

Hi,
sometimes, when I leave Anki open and put my computer in sleep mode the resolution of Anki is very poor. I have to quit Anki and reopen it so get back to the normal resolution.
I can observe this issue also when I have Anki on an external display and disconnecting it. Anki will then have a very poor resolution in my internal screen. When connecting again an external display Anki has still a poor resolution. Only a restart helps.

Any Ideas what is causing this?

I’am using the latest version of Anki (Version 2.1.33 (3f403040) and macOS 10.15.6 (19G2021)). I work on a MacBook Pro with an external display (2560px x 1440px).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect external display,
  2. Open Anki with window on external display
  3. Disconnect display :arrow_right: resolution will be poor
  4. Reconnect display :arrow_right: resolution is still poor

I’m afraid this is an issue with the toolkit Anki is built on, and we need to wait for them to fix it.
