Lost cards after syncing from desktop to web- need help with restore

hello,

i need some help, I lost all my decks in ankiweb after performing one way syncing from desktop to web.

I saw an article in the forum that it is possible to restore.

kindly need your help to restore my flash cards to my ankiweb account.

I need to clarify the situation in order to help you.

It sounds like you had a collection on AnkiWeb, and you had a separate collection in your desktop Anki – is that right? Was this the first sync when you set up syncing between the two?

When did the mis-sync happen?

Yes my collections is in the web.
One hour ago, I installed Anki desktop version and created a new flash card, performed one way sync (from desktop to web). then upon checking the web all web collections are gone, and only the one I created in the desktop appears.

AnkiWeb server side backups are only taken periodically. The last one for your account was made a few days ago – on 14 July, or converted to your local time zone. Please confirm if you want me to restore that version to your account.

Okay, that’s restored. Make sure you preserve anything you have on your desktop Anki that you want to save – Syncing with AnkiWeb - Anki Manual . Then you can sync and choose download from AnkiWeb.
