I recently had to factory reset my mac. After doing that I downloaded Anki and signed into my account however I lost all of my add-ons. Is there any way to retrieve them or will I have to re-download them?
I think you will have to install your add-ons again.

You could retrieve them from a backup, if available.
Instructions on how to backup the addons
Tools → addons → view files
then compress the folder, addons21 and upload to Google Drive
(the best compressor is 7-Zip)
that is also how you can share add-ons with your friends too, but instead of copying you will be pasting
