I have recently had a problem where no matter what I set the limit to for card reviews, Anki automatically only lets me go through about 20-30 cards then says my limit is reached. I did the troubleshooting and even tried a different computer and nothing is working.
It sounds like you might be looking at the wrong limits, or otherwise that something else is limiting that deck – another limit, like on a parent deck or subdeck, or a deck-specific limit. Some of this you can post screenshots of if you need help, but some of it is might be easier to check on your own.
- Are you looking at the limits for the deck the cards are actually in, or for the deck you are clicking to study?
- How are your parent-/subdecks arranged?
- Do any of them have limits that are different – deck-specific limits, or in another options group?
- Are you sure?

Can you provide screenshot of your deck options screen?
Are you sure you have more cards that are due today? Search in the Browse window for is:due – what’s the result?
