I synced with Ankihub for the first time in a while, and I wanted to know if there was a way to see what was removed.
I went to sync my decks before closing (habit), and I saw “71 removed” during the process.
I made sure to do a backup right before out of caution.
Export your current deck.
Create a new profile and then import the backup there.
Then, export the entire deck. Now, create a new profile and import the first export and then the second export. Voila, you have the cards that have been deleted.
You can completely skip the 1st step and first half of the 3rd step if you wish to import to your main profile. I guess syncing before you do the other parts and then forcing a sync after you’re done could work.
Haha, thanks. I figured it would involve that. Doubt it’s necessary, but it would be neat to have almost like a mini “changelog” generated.
I believe there is one, but I’m not sure about this. How to access that is something I’m unaware of.
