If the size of decks and the rate of card number growth have a major role, wouldn’t it be wise to look into how they influence retention generally 
I have started a new deck because of my new semester. For the past week, I have been successful in fully clearing any reviews of that deck, and I have consistently clocked true retention rates lower than 95% (my desired retention).
Since I have no backlog (which I suspected earlier to be the main reason) and this deck is in constant growth, I guess this has to be the reason (amongst other factors maybe…) behind my falling behind the desired retention
Therefore, I suggest the influence of collection size and card growth rate on retention may also be worth looking into.

UPDATE: It has gotten even worse for me today 
. Am I doing something wrong with the FSRS 5 same-day scheduler or scheduling in general? The Deck is incredibly hard.
