Images in extra not appearing in imported anki deck

I’m facing an issue with an Anki deck I imported from a source online, where the images in the “Extra” field are not displaying as they should. However, when I import the same deck into RemNote, the images appear perfectly.

In Anki:

In Remnote:

When I check Tools > Check Media, it shows 1386 unused files and I confirmed that the images exist within the media folder of the collection.
I’ve tried re-importing the deck into Anki but the images still don’t show up.

Any tips on how to resolve this issue and get the images to display properly in Anki?

Thanks in advance!

In Anki, next to your extra field is a button looking like this: < > (see your own picture above).

Press it and paste the html here please.

Thank for your answer
I’ve noticed that all the images in the “Extra” field haven’t been imported correctly into my Anki deck. From what I can see, there are over 1,386 unused files in the media folder. I was wondering if there’s a way to import these images properly without having to manually reassign each one. Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes. So does your html have the <img> fields?

If you had pasted it, we could check.

There’s no image assigned to it
Thanks in advance for your help!

In that case something with your import went wrong. Without the image tags, anki won’t know that it’s supposed to show a picture there.

Was it an official anki package? Or did you convert it? If you converted it, how did you convert it (e.g. with an addon? Which addon?)?
