Image occlusion in ankidroid

Will image oclusion become in-built in ankidroid in next update?
When will that update be rolling out?

As far as I know, image occlusion is available in AnkiMobile and it will be available in Anki (desktop) soon.

Image occlusion cards made on Ankimobile not working in ankidroid or ankiweb. Shows Error : anki not defined. I've already updated my app to the latest version of 14th july

Reviewing works for me in 2.1.65. Additing/editing occlusions for the desktop is still in development, and will hopefully land in the next release.

Because AnkiDroid has started to use Anki backend it is possible the occlusion will be available in AnkiDroid too. But I don’t think it will happen in the next release.

This project is archived now. The feature is already available in AnkiMobile and AnkiDesktop. The next version of AnkiDroid will have this feature as inbuilt feature.

Can anki desktop make an image occlusion card?

It’s still a work in progress - hopefully in the next release.
