Ignore or Skip option

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Sometimes I don’t know the answer of a card but I’m sure if I do the card again in some hours I’ll be able to answer it

Describe the solution you’d like
A fixed amount of time in settings for bury option, if the the time of using bury for a card exceed the “Next day starts at” the card will be moved to the start of next day

Describe alternatives you’ve considered
A whole new option which I can’t think of a name for it. This option is exactly like bury but with customizable time instead of being next day

The name could be ‘Skip’ ‘Ignore’
This option should not affect card time log in info (database)

A simpler approach to implement this
1- select a deck
2- start study session (study now)
3- use the Skip option on any card through the study session (it moves onto the next due card)
4- go back to your deck list and choose the same deck
5- study now and you’ll see the skipped card again

How is this simpler?
It’s just a simple skip function specific to a single study session and doesn’t need timing stuff which makes it harder to implement!

Whats wrong burying a whole day? if you truly believe you are gonna remember later, 1 day of difference barely affects most cards scheduling

I understand the feeling, but in those cases i would usually just fail the card. Are you going to remember later because you are lacking energy now to concentrate or because you need some other cue to trigger the knowledge?

There are some corner cases where i do recollect the knowledge, but not the specific wording. In those cases i usually just rate the card hard and move on

Note that feeling “you should know something and its in the tip of your tongue” and “i got it but not the specific wording” are very similar, but first one is clearly a fail and the second one could be a pass if you dont care about the specific wording (for example if you have studying for an exam that requires to write down your knowledge, wording is as important as knowledge and you should fail both cases)
