I can’t make a new empty deck without problems happening

I am currently trying to make a new deck for some maths notes, but every time I attempt to make this deck, cards transferred from my business deck into my maths deck, I cannot upload a video of this ( because I am a new user), so I will attempt to explain this problem in detail:

I have a deck called business notes, which is full of lots of notes, which I haven’t reviewed yet, and I tried to make a new deck: Maths, but every time I make this, the business notes become empty and maths appears to have the notes “business” previously had, and out of curiosity, I tried to review my now full “maths” notes, but tells me “Congratulations you have finished these cards” e.t.c, in an attempt to try fixing it, I decided to switch the names of the “business” and “maths” decks, only for them to switch the notes AGAIN, and then again, and this keeps on going on in a cycle.

Could you please suggest how I can fix this problem without losing my “business” notes?

  1. Have you run Check Database lately? If not, do that.
  2. Is this only happening in AnkiMobile, or do you have the same issue on desktop and AnkiDroid?
  1. Can you say more about where you’re looking that makes “business notes” seem to be empty, and “maths” seems to get those cards?
