Anki on my laptop will not open any decks. I also have Anki on my phone and iPad. On my iPad and phone when I tap on a card there will be a selection tool that covers the question. This is a square within a square, a square and a rectangle, a plus, a minus, a show/hide and a clear button. Today I tried to take that away completely and now after synchronising on my laptop I’ve lost an entire deck and the site isn’t responding to any deck I press. I haven’t syncronised my iPad so I can still see the deck lost there but the selection tool is covering my questions. What should I do?
You can either force sync (Syncing with AnkiWeb - Anki Manual) your iPad, so that the current state of your iPad is synced to AnkiWeb (Preferences → Syncing → One-way sync). After syncing all other devices from AnkiWeb you have the current state of your iPad on your phone and Mac. All changes you made on these devices will be lost. You can also restore a backup (Backups - Anki Manual) to return to a version of the database before you made these changes.
