Hi! I was wondering how to do image occlusion in ankidroid. I’ve read a lot of posts here but I found none to be helpful helpful. First problem is that my anki doesn’t even have IO option it instead has IO enhanced. Secondly in IO enhanced there isn’t a window I have seen people have where you can edit your image occlusion by just dragging and stuff. I don’t know how to get that window.
Help would be appreciated.
“Image Occlusion Enhanced” is the note type for the Image Occlusion Enhanced add-on. You can’t add/edit those notes on AnkiDroid (you need desktop with the add-on).
What you want is the “Image Occlusion” note type – which works with built-in IO in all of the apps. If you deleted that note type, you can re-add it – from the Decks list, 3-dots menu > Manage note types > + > “Add: Image Occlusion.” You can leave it named that so you’ll know you have the right one in the future, or rename it if you want to customize it.
