Hi, after getting the latest anki update it seems I am unable to change the EASY (and therefore the GOOD) interval like before. I am specifically talking about when a new card becomes a review card. I looked every where in case that setting was moved but I cant find it. Please help.
Thank you!
That “Easy Interval” is part of the SM-2 algorithm. If you’ve enabled FSRS (which you should, because it’s great) – that disappears because it’s no longer used.
FSRS will set the post-Learn intervals for your cards [i.e. the values for Good and Easy when a card graduates to Review], based on your review history and Desired Retention. Deck Options - Anki Manual

FSRS is new to me. So do you recommend I keep it as is and not disable it?
Unless I missed something, FSRS still isn’t enabled by default. Meaning if it is active for you, then you turned it on in the past.
FSRS is much better compared to the default SM-2 algorithm, so yes, you should keep FSRS enabled.
