This is the second time that this has occurred:
I have an Anki account which I have used both on desktop and on ios (not at the same time, but logging in/out on either device, as I don’t have the premium version). When logging out on my phone and then trying to log in on my computer, Anki said there was no account with my mail address. I have over 500 flashcards on Anki that I seem to have lost now!?!
This has occurred with a different account that I had before. I was curious as to whether it really was deleted and yes: I could even create a new account with that same mail address I had used before!
Can anyone please help me get my flashcards back?? How do I stop this from happening?
Also fyi there is no pro version of anki, if you see one it’s a ripoff and not compatible with the official one.

I have not been inactive, I have used my account every single day in the last week and I’ve also only created it a couple of weeks ago. It seems to happen every time I intentionally log out. I did not do backup and I can’t log in with my email, neither on desktop nor iphone nor web.
It seems like I have no possibility of gaining my flashcards back??
Perhaps the issue is that you’re using a version that’s not part of the Anki ecosystem, as pointed out by @Nici.
