Forgetting curve not showing up in card info in anki 24.11

I just updated to anki 24.11 apple silicon. Replaced my old version of anki. Double checked my version in the “about” section. But there’s no forgetting curve in my card info when I’m doing cards! I have fsrs on, have had it on for a couple months now.

Help! Has anyone else had this issue and were able to resolve it?

Can you share a screenshot of the card info screen?

updated, thank you for helping me investigate

Do you have any add-ons that are modifying this page?

The card info is missing FSRS memory states which might be caused by some add-on but if not, try optimising this preset.

interesting. i attached a sc of my add ons. i don’t think i’ve downloaded any that are directly meant to modify that page. but another may be inadvertently affecting it?

Did you try to optimise?

As for the add-ons, disable half of them and check if the card info screen changes. Then try disabling the other half and so on.

yes, i optimized and saved it after the update and before posting here

Please close Anki, then open it in safe mode by holding down the Shift key while starting Anki. Keep holding Shift down until the on-screen message informs you that Anki has started in safe mode.

If the problem goes away, that indicates an add-on is causing the problem. Remove any add-ons you don’t need, and disable half of the others. If the problem continues, try the other half. Repeat the process until you’ve figured out which add-on is causing the problem. Then please report the issue to the add-on author, using the Copy Debug Info button, and pasting that into the report.

solved!!!

it was my modification to the settings of the “advanced review bottom bar” add on that caused it. i had changed the shortcut of the info bar to be “i” which overrode the default pop up of the anki info page. the add on hasn’t updated to support the chart yet.

when i reenabled the add on it changed back to its default settings, which is having its card pop up shortcut as f4. pressing “i” opened up another info page i had never seen before. that’s how i realized the info bar was not anki’s default screen which i had thought it was !!

thank you so much for your help you are awesome
