I am on Mac and everytime I have the Cloze card as the note type and highlight a text to make a cloze selection and I press Command + Shift + C, it creates that cloze card but then right next to it will pop up another cloze card. If I have the note type of basic and make the deletion, it does it regularly and only deletes the one I wanted but when I have it on the cloze type, it makes two. So weird
For example, a card states: “John went to the store to get groceries”
If I wanted to make a cloze deletion on the word “groceries”, it will cloze delete that word but then will have another {{c1::}} next to it.
It ends up looking like this:
“John went to the store to get {{c1::groceries}}{c2::}}”
I have tried this on my Macbook Pro as well as my iMac and it does this exact same thing. I really don’t know how to fix this and it is so annoying that I have to go back to delete the second part everytime. Someone help me please.
