Error with Card Fields

I am able to modify a card type’s field, but whenever I make a new card (or use Yomichan to make a new card), there’s no changes, it only shows the basic fields. There’s no font changes or field changes. This is only when I make my own cards, there are no issues with premade decks I download. I can’t figure out the issue here. Should I just delete and redownload Anki?

You need to edit the card template to define what should be shown on front or back,

Deleting and re-downloading Anki won’t help (like it most cases).
