When i try to sync using my homewifi
It doesn’t sync and say error Sending request for url ()
When i sync with my university wifi
It sync normally
How can i solve this problem @dae
There is likely some interference with other software, e.g a firewall, anti-virus software or a VPN. Try disabling those and see if the problem persists.
i turn the firewall off still cant sync the media it only sync using university wifi but at home it doesnt sync only sync the collection not the media
If you can sync fine on one network, and can’t sync on another network, and you’re using the same computer in both places – it’s definitely an issue with the network. Try increasing your network timeout to 90 or 120 seconds in Tools > Preferences.
If you have access to a VPN, you could try turning it on and seeing if that helps. One possible explanation is that the ISP you are using has bad routing to AnkiWeb’s servers.
