Double icons in Dock of Mac Os Monterey Intel

Hello everyone. When I open the Anki Desktop, version 2.1.50, two icons are appearing. When I keep the Icon in the Dock/Menu Bar, every time I click on it, another icon appears.

Try removing both from the dock, opening Anki, and then re-adding it.

Also, confirm that Anki is in the Applications folder.

  1. I removed both from the dock. I Quit and I reopened Anki a lot of times.
  2. Anki is in the application folder, I installed it using Homebrew.
  3. The icons keep appearing.

Perhaps Homebrew is causing the issue? Try a regular install?

I still don’t seem to be able to reproduce this. What exact steps trigger an extra icon to display?

My interface is in Brazilian Portuguese. I recorded my screen and make a gif file with the video.

I tested with the homebrew version and the anki website version.

I updated Anki to the version 2.1.53 and the problem was solved.
