My wife has aphasia as the result of a stroke and I have created a few simple object recognition decks for her to use. She finds the scheduling feature complicated and I would like to turn it off so that she could simply go through the decks from start to finish whenever she likes.
Is it possible to disable scheduling?

Not quite, but I think a Filtered deck would be a good fit for her. Filtered Decks - Anki Manual
You and she can structure it how you want – like deck:maindeck to get everything in a certain deck (or any other search terms, Searching - Anki Manual) – but without regard to scheduling. She can rebuild it whenever she wants to study, and the cards will return to their home deck when she’s done.
The cards will technically be rescheduled, but that won’t keep them from being pulled into the Filtered deck. Or if she really wants to avoid scheduling entirely, she can turn off “reschedule cards based on.”
