I had decks at ankiweb. Does anyone know how to retrieve it? unfortunately I did not make back-ups. I was using ankiweb alot but due to personnel health issues, did not use it for a year. Please help me get my old deck back. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
I’m sorry to tell you that after a year there is a high chance your AnkiWeb decks are gone forever.
AnkiWeb accounts get deleted after 6 months of inactivity so it has been quite a while since your account has been deleted.
If you are very lucky there may be an old backup that @Danika_Dakika can restore, but I gather that it is unlikely after this amount of time.
Are you sure that you never used the desktop or mobile apps? They keep local backups that you may be able to use even if you deleted the app in the last year.

I’m sorry to tell you, but no, there’s nothing left from before your data was removed in September.
sometimes old folders can be still there. have you checked if your different devices have anything?
Good point, but OP apparently only used AnkiWeb:
So they can’t restore from their old files unfortunately.

Oh, I interpreted that as “I don’t have anything other than the desktop client” given the category was Anki.
OP, did you ever share the decks though? On AnkiWeb or with someone else?
