So I’ve recently started to use Anki again and have noticed all my decks have been deleted. I checked my email and found something from Anki about all unused decks being deleted. Obviously I missed this and I no longer have the device I used to use Anki on. Is there any way that there’s a backup that a moderator can access? I’m really in need of help as I have an exam coming up and those decks cover a lot of subject matter.
Yes, whenever you leave your account inactive for 6 months or longer, you should expect the data will be removed from our servers. AnkiWeb isn’t suitable for long-term storage of inactive collections. AnkiWeb account removal - Anki FAQs
When the data is removed, that usually means that all of the server-side backups are removed as well. However in your account, there is one remaining from late-October 2024. Please confirm if you want me to restore that to your AnkiWeb account.
