Hello all! If any Anki team member can help me, I’d appreciate it. A while ago, I logged on to my Anki and found that my decks were gone. I figured that it’s because my Anki wasn’t in use for long. But while I thought that my ‘once in a blue moon’ card review sessions to keep my decks active worked, it didn’t! Unfortunately, many years and semesters’ worth of information that I can’t retrieve elsewhere is gone, and I desperately need it at this time.
I’m appealing to anyone or any Anki team member who can help me; please help me.

I’m looking at the account connected to the email address you used to post here. The data was removed from this account in February 2026 after it had been inactive for at least 6 months. We delete the data from accounts in our system that aren’t being used for syncing or studying, so AnkiWeb isn’t suitable for long-term storage of your inactive collection – AnkiWeb account removal - Anki FAQs .
Server-side backups are not kept very long. When you reactivated your account in July 2026, that restarted the periodic cycle of backup/removal, so any backups from before February are gone now. There is nothing left in your account to restore.
