It seems that when you apply a daily review limit specific to a deck and/or it’s subdecks, when you pull cards them into a filtered deck with reschedule on, reviewing the cards doesn’t count towards the deck specific daily review limit.
Filtering is a way to view cards outside the daily limit; it seems logical that they are not limited or counted.
That’s correct. You’re studying those cards outside of that deck (and its limits). Of course, once you’ve studied a due Review card, it’s not due anymore, so it would no longer need to be studied in its home deck.
However if you make that Filtered deck a subdeck too – that should consume the limit of the parent deck just like any other subdeck. [I’ve only tried this by studying through the parent deck, so if you’re studying through the subdeck, you might need to enable limits start from the top.]
I didn’t know that. I feel like they should add an option for it anyways though since in the manual it is also described for filtered decks to be possibly used as a way for catching up on notes or on the reddits frequently as a way to create 1 “Due today” deck and such.
There is “an option for it” – a few options – as I said.
