Deck Cards Missing Info

Hi There,
I’m using the decks created for Mandarin Blueprint Method and for some reason the cards are sometimes missing information. e.g. They show the Chinese Characters but not the Pinyin.
Can I replace/delete the decks without messing up the algorithm and repetition timing?
On a slightly different topic I tried pasting .jpg files into the picture fields on some of the cards and it seems to have totally messed up the cards. e.g. They are missing The Pinyin or on some cards all of the information except the sound file. Not sure how that happened? Any suggestions on how to fix these issues would be welcome.

I am not sure about this, but you can make a backup before trying it: Introduction - Anki Manual or try restoring a old backup Restoring an Automatic Backup (Recovering from Data Loss) and see if your cards are restored/fixed.
