On a new Win11 computer, Anki works fine except that the Ctrl+Shift+X shortcut when adding / editing to enable / disable the html editor is not working. Add-ons are disabled and other programs can capture the keys, so I don’t think it’s a Windows issue. The button works just fine.

I found the somebody described the same issue titled “Keyboard shortcut for toggling the HTML-editor stopped working” (I can’t figure out how to post links) but their issue resolved on its own.
Thx
It might be. At least I can say that it works fine for me on debian linux.
For convenience, here’s the link: Keyboard shortcut for toggling the HTML-editor stopped working.
You basically just copy and paste the link; the forum will do the rest.
It works fine for me on Windows – in both the Browse window note editor and in the Add Note window.

- Have you tried restarting your computer (or anything else on the Troubleshooting Checklist)?
- Are you using a keyboard layout other than US/International?
- Do you have any 3rd-party or OS-wide shortcut/keybind apps running?
Does this mean that on other computers using the same version of Anki, with that same keyboard layout, the shortcut works fine? In that case, it seems likely that there’s something running on this computer that is interfering with Anki getting that shortcut.
