Create subdecks with the help of tags?

Hi,

I have downloaded one deck with words to different topics such as weather, food, house, transport and so on.
Each topics has about 30-40 words. Each card/note has tags.

Examples of tags are:
uTalk_GCSE_Languages::Identity_and_culture::Free-time_activities::Food_and_Drink
uTalk_GCSE_Languages::Identity_and_culture::Free-time_activities::Kitchen
uTalk_GCSE_Languages::Identity_and_culture::Free-time_activities::Ordering_in_a_Restaurant

uTalk_GCSE_Languages::Identity_and_culture::Me,_my_family_and_friends::Clothes
etc.

Can I divide the cards/notes of the desk in different topics with the help of these tags and create some subdecks/chapters? Like:
Deck
.Identity_and_culture
Free-time_activities
…-- Kitchen
…-- Food_and_Drink
…-- Transport
Me,_my_family_and_friends
…-- Clothes
etc.

Thanks in advance :slight_smile:

You can easily create your folder structure, and then, using the search feature, select the notes with an specific tag and move them to the appropriate folder.

Do you mean that it is not possible to make the folder structure and subdecks automatically, with the help of these tags?

Thanks for the link.

As far as I know, no.

Oh! That would be very sad.
I hoped very much that with the help of the tags it would work automatically.

I’m not 100% sure, maybe there’s a plugin just for that. Anyway, it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to do what you want to do manually.

You can undoubtedly make your organizer construction, and afterward, utilizing the inquiry highlight, select the notes with a particular tag and move them to the suitable envelope.
