Copying the history of a card to another card

Hello!

My use case: I have a few cards which contain both the noun and adjective version of a word. However, now I would like to split each of those cards into two: One containing the adjective, the other one containing the noun. I could create a new card and cut and paste either the adjective or noun to this card. However, Anki would treat it as a new card with no history. Is it possible to copy the history of the orginal card to the newly created card?

Thanks a lot in advance!

You can give this add-on a try: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/94685914

Disclaimer: untested.

I’ve used that " Transfer scheduling data from one card to another" add-on, and it has worked for me – but the action it does is truly a “move.” It doesn’t duplicate the history on a 2nd card, it removes it from the first card.

Thank you to both of you for your input!

I guess I will review the cards and hit “easy” instead of “good” more often then

In case you don’t know, you can make cards automatically by adding a second card type to your template.
