When I sync my computer or phone, they always have different amounts of cards due. I checked and my computer and phone are on the same date and time. I have done a complete sync in both directions. Some days, they are the same amount of cards due, while others differ up to 40 cards. Please help. Thanks in advance!
On a day when the counts differ, if you upload on one device and download on the other, do the counts still differ between your two devices? The answer to that question will tell us whether it’s an issue with the timezone/cutoff calculation, or a problem syncing.
Sometimes they differ, but other times it works.
The next time you find the counts are differing immediately after a full upload on one device and download on the other, please reply, point out the deck/counts that are differing, and I’ll try to reproduce the issue.
They are uneven tonight! I force sank from my computer to my phone and they are still not lining up. Please let me know if you can help/ if you need me to do anything else.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry Marenda, I did not get to this in time. Could we try again? If you could also let me know the timezone you’re in, I’ll switch the time on the devices here to match.
That is okay! I had the issue again tonight after the force sync, so I am sure tomorrow will be the same. We can work together to hopefully fix the issue. I am in the central time zone!

Hi Marenda,
I set the clock back to the approximate time of your posting and set it to your timezone. At first the counts differed, but when I refreshed both devices, they matched:
This would be because you had some learning cards come due around then, due to the 25 minute step + 0 minute learn ahead limit you have set. The next time you encounter the issue, please try refreshing the list on both devices - you can pull down on the list in AnkiMobile, and can click on Decks in the computer version to refresh the list.
Thank you so much! Does this mean that it should line up from now on?

What I think was happening is a learning card became due between the decks being refreshed on one device and on the other. If you refresh the counts on both devices at the same time, you should find the counts line up.
I just refreshed them and one device says 125 and the other says 134. Does this just mean that some are learning cards that I missed?

I tried again to reproduce the problem about 5 minutes after your post, but it appears you’d already studied some more cards, as the counts didn’t match either 125 nor 134. When the counts differ, do you have learning cards waiting? Do you ever see the problem when there are no more learning cards due for the day?
