How do I fix it?

If rescheduling was disabled or the cards were in learning, they may have been reset. Please see the filtered decks section of the manual for more info:

Custom study behaves the same on both platforms. Whether cards are rescheduled or not depends on which custom study option you choose. What are you choosing, and what is your goal?
