Cloze function is automatically adding itself?

Since last week when I make cloze its been automatically adding itself.

I will write my text then out it in cloze brackets write my back card and then click add, the text stays after I press “add” (or use the windows shortcut) and automatically says “Duplicate”. Then I have to manually remove the text before starting my next card.

I haven’t changed anything about my anki since I’ve gotten it.
I tried to go into the options tab in fields but there’s not an option for it to be turned of or something along those lines

Can somone help me because this is gravely inconvenient and makes making cloze flashcards an absolute drag because im loosing my momentum by typing, delting, typing, deleting:(

You probably pressed this icon next to your field, where the arrow points to:

If it is bold, then the text stays in that field. Click the icon again and the text disappears when you press “add”.
