I am having an issue with my anki scheduling. When pressing easy it says it should show me again in several days or longer. Yet it shows me the card again and again repeatedly through the next reviews. The amount of “learning” cards does not go down when I review these repeats. I am on this version: 26.09.3 (29bb700b). I have also recently changed to using software video driver in attempt to occlusion cards not displaying correctly or not showing the next card until answered. If I change to default video driver, I then get the repeated reviews but they show as not being scheduled correctly e.g. good being review in 10 minutes rather than days. They also then do not schedule correctly if I rereview them. This seems to happen with a large deck of anatomy occlusion cards that I have.
There are so many things this could be. At the top of the list are –
- You might be confusing similar cards for each other.
- Your input method might be recording a grade you didn’t intend.
- You might have add-ons that are rescheduling the cards after you study them.
- You might be studying in Filtered decks that aren’t pulling cards based on when they are actually due.
Most of that could be diagnosed by looking at a screenshot of the Card Info of a card you’ve noticed this on – the top section and review log (but we don’t need the graph).
You should also restart in safe mode – Troubleshooting Checklist #2 – to see if add-ons are the problem.
If you’re having issues with the screen drawing correctly, you should resolve that first and make sure you’re actually studying the cards you think you are.
