Hello: the cards that I’m creating in the deck or another appearing when I’m learning. See screenshot. Anyone knows why this is the case please? Thanks! Peter
Those “Due” counters aren’t counting every card that exists in your collection. They are only showing you the ones that are due to be studied right now – Studying - Anki Manual – and within the daily limits of the deck – Deck Options - Anki Manual .
Hi Danika_Dakika,
Thanks so much for your help with my Anki cards issue! I wanted to let you know I’ve solved the problem. The reset method worked perfectly - now all my cards are showing up when I study.
To fix it, I went to Browse, selected all cards in my deck, right-clicked → Cards → Reset, and checked “Reset repetition and lapse count.” Now I can see all 183 cards instead of just the small batch Anki was showing before.
I really appreciate you taking the time to point me in the right direction!
Best,
Peter
Just to be clear, I did not suggest that you reset the cards to New. You will continue to see different cards due each day, and resetting them won’t be a sustainable approach for spaced-repetition studying, because the cards will never build up history and the intervals will never get longer.
If what you’re really saying is, “I want to study all of my cards every day” – then see: Anki's not showing me all my cards! - Anki FAQs
Gotcha, thanks for clarifying!
