Cant navigate the browse window on ipad

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to replicate my desktop Anki workflow on AnkiMobile for iPad, but I’m struggling to find an efficient way to do it.

On desktop, I usually:

  • Go into Browse
  • Navigate lecture-by-lecture through the sidebar/tag tree (example: BnB Repro → Spermatogenesis)
  • Select all cards for that lecture (Ctrl+A)
  • Unsuspend them (Ctrl+J)

This makes it very easy to unlock cards lecture-by-lecture after finishing each lecture.

On iPad, however, in Browse mode I only seem to get the filter menu (New Cards, Suspended, Reviews, etc.), and I can’t find a proper sidebar/tag-tree interface similar to desktop.

Because of that, I’m having difficulty:

  • navigating lecture tags/subtags
  • seeing how many cards belong to each lecture
  • selecting/unsuspending lecture cards efficiently

Is there a way to access a desktop-style tag tree/sidebar on AnkiMobile iPad?

Or what is the recommended workflow for lecture-by-lecture unsuspension on iPad when using large decks like AnKing?

Thanks!

It sounds like you found the right place, but there’s more below that. The “Filter” button is the closest thing to the sidebar – Adding & Editing - AnkiMobile Manual . You can scroll the list, but it’s probably more efficient to use its search box to look up part of the name of what ever tag you want.
