After uninstalling Version 2.1.13 (sudo make uninstall from the 2.1.13 directory) and running sudo make install on downloaded 2.1.29, anki won’t start.
Problem seems to be that the binaries provided depended on version QT 5.15 whereas Ubuntu 16.04 includes an older version of QT 5.
I had to uninstall and re-install 2.1.13, tough it would be nice being able to upgrade.
