I’m using Anki 2.1.55 qt6 released today for Linux. When entering the add cards page and selecting the desired deck, the “front” and “back” field does not work for typing. But if I leave the page and enter it again without choosing the deck, the “front” and “back” field works for typing.
I can’t seem to reproduce this. Are you using the package from Anki’s website?
